This lovely renovated independent small stone barn is a perfect Studio Apartment, sited down a short pathway and through a private terrace which is exclusively for it’s own use. There are lights and a very pleasant seating area
It has a small kitchenette area that is well stocked, a dining area with table and chairs, a double bed and en suite shower room that is a larger than average room with a slightly higher toilet (Shower Italienne wet room). It is Handicapped Friendly, and can be accessed by a wheelchair, although please do note that at present the pathway leading to the Studio is a gravel one, we do intend to change this to a firmer pathway in time. An exclusive patio area has a table and chairs and provides the perfect place for relaxing with a glass of wine or a cup of tea at the end of the day, or even to enjoy your breakfast on in the morning with a lovely cup of fresh coffee. There is a parasol and a small BBQ for your comfort and use as well – and should you require anything additional, please do ask as we always appreciate being able to make our guests stay as perfect as possible.
Both Studio Apartments are rental by the night and there are discounts offered for 3 nights or more booked directly with us.
This lovely studio apartment has an independent entrance and a large main room. There is kitchen / diner area that is well equipped for your stay (please do ask if there is anything extra that you need during your stay) and this passes onto a sleeping area with a beautiful Antique French Bed with comfortable new mattress. There is a seating area here too with a coffee table and a couple of chairs to allow for a relaxing drink before bed. A door opens onto a short corridor with hanging space and shelving for your belongings, than a further door leads into the good sized shower room.
All windows are shuttered the main windows look out over the beautiful parkland to the rear of La Noyeraie Rocamadour. We will show you how to use these so that no damage is done, as this is an old farmhouse with its loveable quirks.
A private terrace exclusive to the Studio Apartment looks out over the ancient pigeoniere and stone barns, and a glass of local rose in summer is the perfect way to relax while watching the evening sun set over the barns.
Please note:There are no televisions or radios as we believe in a relaxed and tranquil atmosphere and want all our guests to enjoy a restful nights sleep and have a calm enjoyable holiday here with us. WiFi Is provided free of charge however throughout the property, although sometimes it does struggle through some of the thick stone walls.
We are happy to add the special little touches for example a bottle of wine or flowers for special occasions if you let us know in advance. We have a wine list here and you are welcome to purchase the perfect Cahors wines personally chosen by us at reasonable prices. These range in price from a glass to a 2002 bottle of reserve – see prices on arrival or email us for specific enquiries.
An extra bed or baby bed can be added for your comfort as well, see Tariffs page for these. The Baby Bed is added free of charge although if you wish to use our bedding please note there is a small charge for this.
BREAKFAST can be added at a small charge (see Tariffs Page) per person and we bring this to your studio at a pre-booked time, unless you wish to have this on the main terrace during B&B breakfast times of between 8am and 9am. Available is the Continental Breakfast or Cooked Breakfast, pancakes or eggs (see the Breakfast and Evening Meals page for more detail).
This is available to all our guests but should be booked as far in advance as possible as we have limited space available unless the weather is suitable for eating out on the terrace. At the very latest this needs to be booked by 6pm on the day of arrival (as long as there is availability). As with breakfast, please see the Breakfast and Evening Meals page for more details.
We use locally sourced and own grown ingredients were possible, and we have taken our time to choose the wines we provide, from just one supplier in the Cahors wine area.
